Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

Great puzzle! The quality is amazing and became my main instantly.
When I got this cube at first, it didn’t feel great. It was felt a bit blocky. After breaking it in, however, the blockyness went away and it easily became my favorite and best performing 7x7. The turning is just great and big cube lockup’s rarely occur. My times have gotten significantly better because of this cube.
This is my first 7x7. Blown away by the MGC speed. Makes turning very fun and satisfying. Magnet strength is good for me and keeps everything nice and aligned.
Comes pretty loose, prone to nasty lockups. No pops though!
The natural speed of these cubes makes it so you can keep it rather tight and still be able to keep the same speed while turning.
I was afraid it'll be a bit too big but the size-weight is nice and doesn't feel cumbersome.
I do not own any of the other flagships, so take my word by the grain of salt, but this cube has a really good balance of qualities making it great!
Lost a red cap almost immediately, otherwise, loving using this cube.
I was greatly anticipating the release of this for some time since I knew the MGC lineup has a great history of amazing performance for very affordable prices. The MGC 7x7 doesn't disappoint! All of the layers turn with equal speed and fluidity. I also really like that the magnet strength between all the layers is equal, and not stronger on the inner layers like some other puzzles. There is a little bit of spring noise on mine, but nothing that some lube can't fix. I can't speak for anyone who's dedicated considerable time to practicing this event, but for any beginner or intermediate solver looking for a high quality 7x7 to get in to the event, this is the puzzle for you!
I preordered this cube. I have always had trouble with 7x7 hardware. The spark was to blocky, the Hays didn’t have enough magnet strength. But this cube clicks all the boxes. Fas, controllable and stable. It did however have a lot of of factory lube, so it take an ao5 to get rid of that.
I own a lot of 7x7 cubes, but here is why I like this one. For someone with really bad wrist this MGC line has been great since they are so fast and easy to turn, it is effortless. I needed to make each side about 180 degrees tighter, and lubed this cube with Lubicle Silk & DNM-37. I am very impressed with how stable the outer layers are in the 3x3 phase, even with D Moves. When pairing edges I had a slight issue though. When doing the flipping alg an extra R layer would come up with the cube messing everything up, but I am sure I will adjust; it is just really fast I guess. There was a minor quality issue with the cube, on one of the corners there was a slight gap unable to close no matter how hard to tried to close it, but it isn't affecting my solves at all. Overall I would recommend this puzzle to anyone without a 7x7, however compared to the Spark it is not as stable in my opinion. As stated before, I have really bad wrist and this will be my main over the Spark, Hays, and AoFu due to the easy in turning.
