YJ MGC Megaminx
The YJ MGC Megaminx is a fast, lightweight puzzle that features bright stickerless shades and ridges for better control. The YJ MGC Megaminx's magnets are noticeably stronger than those of the MGC 3x3s.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

Pretty great ootb, has reasonable corner cutting which can be improved through setup, a great intermediate-advanced megaminx imo
Buy this, it is great for its price, has great colors but one of the magnets fell out.
I think dyan might be better but I would not know because I don't have one.
Great colors, solid build and materials. Crazy fun puzzle.
A magnet fell out but everything else is good
I had the same issue as Reece h. who also reviewed. Springy noise I couldn't source out at first. Turns out two of the magnets in the purple side's pieces had come free within the pieces and were rattling and flopping around as you turned the side. I'll have to go through the rest of the cube to see if there's any others but otherwise no major issues and it's not a show-stopper, just bad QC at the factory. Once I figure out what magnet strength I want I'll glue them all in place. Problem solved. Would have 5 stars otherwise. Magnets aside the puzzle is probably the best bang for the buck. It's fast, adjustable, and while I thought the ridges may be off-putting, they actually work really well with the overall shape for control.
I bought this cube at a competition (when we had competitions) and this was the best megaminx I have ever tried. It is fast, controllable, and easy to grip. I went from averaging around 1:40 to immediately improving and now I'm sub 1:18 and am still improving. I will occasionally get a corner twist but that isn't a big issue. Once I got this megaminx this easily became my favorite event to practice.
I found the MGC megaminx to be absolutely incredible, but there is one small problem that bothers me a ton. One side has a very loud springy noise. No matter what I do it won't go away. I've tried three types of lubes and none of them work. This might not bother everyone else as much though. So overall: Incredibly good megaminx but sounds very annoying (to me)
In my opinion, best megaminx on the market.Feels a lot like a GTS3 which was my main and is very good in quality.
Right out of the box, this thing was fast and loose. I tightened it by half a screw turn per side and that made it much better. This minx is fast and stable. The shades are good and the ridges are a nice touch. It turns very lightly and I have had one corner twist on it. The only problem is that it's bigger than the Galaxy V2 megaminxes so that may take some getting used to. Overall, it's great.
I love my sculpted X-Man Galaxy V2 M, but it's really small, and the ridges being on all sides makes it a little harder to grip. The YJ MGC Megaminx is a little bigger, has higher ridges with sharper edges, and the ridges only go around the outside of each face. This makes it much easier to grip. It moves nicely too. There is a little bit of spring noise, and it's not awesomely smooth as the Galaxy, but with a good lube job, I'm hoping it can be. I'd love to see a premium version of this puzzle.
