YJ Pocket Cube Timer

Its my first timer and i dont like it,beucase :when cube/your hand hits the timer it just restart the timer and it would be 4 stars,but sensor range is like 2 cm

The timer is okay if you want something cheap and portable. I got it as a Christmas present a few years back and there are a few blaring issues. For one accidental resets are way too easy. If you hit it to hard whether that be from your hands hitting it on a stop or the cube hitting it on the way down the timer will reset. This is an issue because the only way to stop it is with your hands being super close to the timer. If the surface you’re cubing know is too flimsy and the table happens to shake when you stop the timer it can reset. There are a few instances where I got a good solve and slammed my cube down and what ended up happening was either, my hands hit the timer, the cube hit the timer, or the surface wobbled and the timer reset. Another issue about it is that the battery’s fall out way too easily. I’ve accidentally dropped the timer, and every time the back cover falls off and the batteries fall out. Tbh the back cover would have a screw on the cover like a stackmat timer to help hold it on. You also can’t use it on something like a couch or a bed because of how sensitive the sensors are. The timer will immediately start upon touching a soft surface. To be honest the timer works if your careful, and although it has some blaring issues it still is alright for its price.

It’s really nice and portable but the instructions aren’t in English and for some reason it doesn’t work outside.

I really liked the concept of the product, the feel of the plastic was so good that I nearly just stopped cubing to feel it. The only problem with this product is that when for some reason if when you lift off of the table it randomly starts, it can be very annoying but overall it serves its purpose and it just meh

It worked perfectly the only thing u really need is a good light source (prefferably not the sun) and then put your hands around 1-2 millimeters away from the censors and it works fine

With windows that have a lot of natural light, it does not work very well and the timer just starts and stops randomly. It gets really annoying and I only recommend if you have certain lighting conditions... if you are only buying this cause of a budget then just get the YJ timer or QiYi timer. The only way I can recommend it is if you really need some portability.

When I bought this timer, I was thrilled with the quality for it's price. But after just a few months of using it, it started to fail. If I slammed my hands down to hard on the surface, the timer restarts. Sometimes I couldn't get it to turn on correctly, and the display would flash randomly.

after about half of a year of cubeing and using this now it hardly ever starts and I tryed at different lightings still did not work and then it keeps stoping for no reason then when you drop the cube and it hits the timer the timer almost turns of and deletes your time

WASTE OF MONEY

Its great timer for its price.

It took a little bit to get used to it, but I say it is abang for your buck for a small "stackmat" timer
