The YJ YuLong Pyraminx is a new, lightweight pyraminx with a low price point. It features pieces similar to the original MoYu Pyraminx, but with a softer and less clicky feel. Great as an inexpensive first pyraminx for beginners!

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

I have had a lot of puzzles made by YJ and I have the YJ YuLong 3x3. I had high expectations for this pyraminx and I must say I am very disappointed. Now, I am a pyraminx guy. So, my review is based on some of the top pyraminx's out there. This is strictly a beginner pyraminx. It's not complete garbage. But it's not for intermediate or professional pyraminx speed solvers, like myself. It is blocky, but smooth. It doesn't click, it clacks. Corner cutting is possible, but not decent. Color shades are nice. I tried maru lube and it doesn't hold it. It doesn't hold moyu either. Out of 10 I'd give this a 2. On a beginner scale, I'd give it a 7. Do I recommend this puzzle? Only if you have never picked up a pyraminx.
This is a weird puzzle. It has no ball bearings or magnets. no clicking at all, not even in the tips. As a result, It's pretty unstable. It has a pretty smooth and fast feeling once broken in, but it's just not worth the money when there are much better options out there. I get okay times on it, but I +2 on it a lot due to no ball bearings in the tips. Just get yourself a Bell.
Its not that good. It turns good but like it is really unstable. Not saying its bad but its not good either. Decent cube but could be better.
As a beginner I don't have the most experience with cubes but I would definitely recommend skipping over this Pyraminx and going for something with a clicking mechanism.
To be honest this cube is really really bad it locks a tone and doesn't flow during algorithms
Out of the box it was ok but after breaking in it became extremely horrible. The feel changed from a pleasant crunchy feel to a horrible smooth fell. The spring noise is very irritating as well.
It needs lubed and it is a very noisy with the springs. feels cheap.
This pyraminx is very good AFTER you break it in out of the box it's has a sandy feel and some of the corners would not turn but after you break it in and add some lube it feels AMAZING it's smooth but controlable and overall a great cube.
The puzzle doesn't click in to place like normal pyraminx
This is just like a copy of the moyu v1 but instead With more cheaper plastic feel and what i like so much is that if you change the springs With aolong springs this will become Your backup main if not Your main ;D
