Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

YJ YuPo 2x2 V2 M
I'm an old fogey, one who desires sub 10 but is no where close. I'm used to 1980's era Rubik Cubes that need upper arm strength to make a turn. I had a hole in my cube lineup, and needed a budget stickerless magnetic 2x2 to fill the gap. After some research, I bought this as my first one, and really like it.
Out of the box it was a little rough. Several dozen solves later it's smoother. Overall, pretty quiet. The magnet strength is OK, and usually catches a quick turn within range of the next opposite turn.
Overall, I'm quite happy with it.
My little brother bought this, and don't get me wrong, i'm no 2x2 person, but i love this cube. Minor flaw, the reverse corner cutting is weird.
The YJ Yupo V2 M is without a doubt one of the better "budget" 2x2s out there. Definitely a great option for new cubers who are looking to get a magnetic 2x2 that won't break the bank. Performance wise, it delivers solid overall performance, but it's personally not my preference in terms of speed, feel and magnet strength.
I've seen some people claiming that they can barely feel the magnets which leads me to believe they received a faulty puzzle, because the magnets in this 2x2 are pretty damn strong. The magnet strength results in a "bumpy" feeling, which I'm not a huge fan of, as I find that it makes the puzzle feel sluggish and not as fluid when performing algorithms. Turning this 2x2 feels like it requires significantly more effort than other "budget" magnetic 2x2s, like the Yuxin Little Magic M and the QiYi MS. The corners also twist really easily, and due to the fact that the puzzle requires more effort to turn because of the strong magnets, I end up accidentally twisting corners quite frequently during solves which is really frustrating.
As for the positives, it corner cuts very well even out of the box on the stock tensions, and once broken in, has a very smooth feeling if you can tolerate the bumpiness caused by the magnets. The stickerless shades are also nice.
Overall, although it isn't my preferred 2x2, I still think that it's a great option for the price. If you're a beginner you definitely can't go wrong buying this puzzle. An overall solid effort by YJ for a budget magnetic 2x2.
This is a great cube, but pops quite a bit, so I had to tighten the cube a lot, too the point where the corner cutting is really hard for 45 degrees.
One of the best 2x2 I have
I've never had a magnetic 2x2 before and this cube did not disappoint. After a few solves to get used to the new feel it helped me lower my average by around 5 seconds. Amazing budget 2x2.
So I got this cube for my Stepsister because i'm teaching her how to cube. I noticed I could barely feel the magnets only when I turned really slow. Also, without lube this cube is somewhat loud. But other than that, the cube is amazing for a budget cube and I highly recommend it to any beginners.
im a beginner at 2x2 but i solve a 3x3 sub 45 and i have been cubing for 3-5 years amazing magnets but it popped on me and fell apart after 2 days and i still cant get it back together after 2 weeks
I was very impressed with this out of the box, a pretty good speed (even better with DNM), good grippy plastic that doesn’t slip out of my hands midsolve, and good magnet strength. If there’s anything I’d complain about, in an ideal world, I’d make it .5-1mm larger, but the size is not a dealbreaker.
