Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

This is an amazing puzzle for six bucks! Would advise for anyone looking to get into pyraminx solving.
its a good puzzle ngl, but it just doesn't feel right. Theres no ball bearings or magnets, so its not very heavy, and corner cutting is very loud and clicky. I would recommend this to someone who has never touched a pyraminx, but would never bring it up around Tymon Kolashinski, or however you spell his last name
I have had this puzzle for about a year and it is still working great
Its alright, turning is very smooth, corners are a small bit stiff. Lock ups are very common though if you turn too fast.
it has a few problems but it would be a great starting puzzle for someone who is new to cubing.
this puzzle has a smooth feel on the inner layer, but the tips are a little tight. there is a little bit of spring noise but that could be fixed with a little bit of lube. it has decent corner cutting, although reverse isn't that good. overall i think it is pretty good for the price. i would recommend this puzzle to anyone who wants to start solving the pyraminx.
I would like to start this review by saying that this pyraminx in not BAD, but if you are like me and have a flagship pyraminx but just wanted one for cubing in school, then this isn't the one. Its alignment mechanism is mildly annoying, and it has a popping problem. Also, because of how the core is structured, you can literally just keep turning a layer over and over, and eventually the whole puzzle will fall apart. Some of the good things about this puzzle are that it is pretty fast and very cheap, but it is better than a dollar store one. All in all, this is a great first pyraminx and all in all a good puzzle, but if you want one for school then get the Lefun mini pyraminx keychain. It is very small, is still cheap, has a removable keychain, turns acceptably well, and is just plain better suited for a school environment. But if you want a cheap first pyraminx, then get this one. It is good enough to use, but not so expensive that you can't buy it.
This is my first pyraminx. However I can say it's slightly better than a Z pyraminx.(Yes the only other I tried). It's quick but slightly harder to grip.It came dirty but no problem.I can't find a way to tension it but it's still good out of the box.The tips are slightly slow though.
