Product Description

The Z Metal Cube is a very heavy 3x3 cube made from metal. At over 300 grams, it is one of the heaviest (and few) 3x3s currently in production. It comes with textured stickers applied.

The Z Metal Cube turns decently well right out of the box, with fewer lockups compared to the DianSheng Metal Cube. It is packaged in a blue cloth bag.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

If you like 3x3 speedcubes- BUY IT. If you like fast cubes- BUY IT. If you use heavy core lube- BUY IT and USE HEAVY CORE LUBE. Easily replaced my Gans 360 Air Grandmaster and my WeiLong GTS. BUY IT.

this cube is not what you think

this cube is not what you think it turns really fast BUT the lock ups are through the roof. it literately has no corner cutting and its so expensive but over all its a cool and heavy cube to have for collection purposes.

tHE BeST 3x3X3 oF 2016! ThE HeAViEST oNe 4-SuRe!

The Z Metal Cube is a bit larger than the GuoGuan YueXiao, a "lot heavier" than any 3x3x3 I have ever owned and an overall amazing cube!... and here is why. 1- Turning: Out of the box this cube turns incredible. I honestly would have never guessed that a cube made with an outer metal element could turn with such fluidity. With just one flick of the finger you can get a 180 degree rotation. The turning on this cube reminds me of the Lan Lan 4x4x4; in which the rotations are effortlessly fast and responsive to finger flicks. There is no major catching of the cubie's whatsoever and absolutely no lockups, no corner twists or no popping; in which I think would be nearly impossible in all three aspects. The feeling and sound of solving this puzzle are crispy, crunchy and a fast sliding metal "clicky" noise. 2- Corner cutting: The corner cutting is what is to be expected from a twisty puzzle with a metal outer shelled surface. It is roughly 1/8 of an inch clockwise corner cutting and the same counter-clockwise.*Note that I solved the Z Metal Cube with finger tricks and another with old school hand turns; it was very enjoyable and effortless in both solves. 3- Workmanship: The Z Metal Cube is so much better than I expected in overall quality and material choice. All three layers are full cubie's; meaning they are not uncapped to save on the metal quantity. The cubie edge's are very smooth to the touch, with not a sharp edge in feel or sight; nor any unleveled metal on the entire perimeter of the cube. The stickers are the standard Rubik's color scheme; (W,L-R,O-B,G). They are applied nicely and seem to be of pretty good quality. At first glance there appears to be bubbles under some of the stickers; though I think that they are not bubbles at all; but simply the face of the metal underneath the stickers is revealing it's texture. On a fun note* After solving the Z Metal Cube; I then picked up my GuoGuan YueXiao Cube and it totally felt like I just came out of a Rubik's Cube weight lifting gym.
