Product Description
The MoYu RS3 M 2021 3x3 (MagLev) is an RS3 M with a new mechanism. This one uses MagLev technology in place of springs, which relies on repelling magnets to replicate spring force. This reduces friction and completely eliminates spring noise, as there are no springs.
This is the first mass produced puzzle using magnetic levitation in the mechanism.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

The cube is fast and maybe too fast for me to control
once i got this it was epic for the maglev core! however after 2 months of use the magnets started making a weird white powder. but anyway good job moyu!
When I got this cube, it feels so fast out of the box. Then at 31 December 2022, I met my old friend, and he borrowed my his lubes. The lubes were DNM-37, Gan Lube II Accel, JustCube Plush Lube and Gravitas, its so fast, controllable, reliable and corner cutting and reverse is very good. Oh and my compression is 4 and is good. This should get a higher review.
This is a very good cube, and I use it as my main, but it has problems with core stripping. Some of the threads in the core have been worn down to the point that layers completely come off, including the centerpiece. However, it is okay with a but of tightening, but I am not able to have it at the screw depth I wish.
i've had this cube for 1/2 a year now swapping it with cubes as a main like the gan 11 and other gan cubes finally when i go to clean the internal maglev part it snaps into the other magnet piece breaking is there any way to fix this by the way
We haven't found a good way to fix the magnets if they break, but you can use the MagLev upgrade kit that we sell to replace them.

One property of maglev cubes that many people seem to miss is that the force applied by magnets increases faster than springs. Because of this, even if you have it on a weak magnet setting, the cube will still feel very tight. Corner cutting requires a lot of force, so combined with it being faster than the standard one, it catches more. I much prefer the standard version of this cube, and I would only recommend this one if you want the fastest one possible. It's not a bad cube, but when there's the regular one to compare it to, I wouldn't recommend this.
Realy good cube it is a little bit too fast but if you put some slow lubes in it, it will be prfect
As a non-speedcuber, my first magnetic Rubik's cube, and what a difference it makes. It gives bit of a nudge to let me know that the turn is complete, and helps align the pieces I don't mean to turn. Mag lev means no spring noise. The colors are bright and are easily recognizable in reasonable light. It feels good for me to turn. I am now looking for cubes with stronger magnets, but it is still a great introduction. Recommend.
