Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

My fault?

I just got a new mgc 2x2 and this came out. I promised my mom i won’t spend another cent on cubes……

No cons

Lighter than valk, same benefits of magnet placement. Feels like a slightly airy tengyun v1 2x2. Good times ootb. Corner cutting is standard.

A solid modern 2x2

The last time I upgraded my 2x2 was around 2015 with the Moyu LingPo (I think that's what it was anyways). I never felt the need to upgrade because it felt pretty good, and I wasn't at my max potential anyways (I cubed very casually for quite a while). However, I thought it'd be nice to try something new since it had been so long. I don't think anything can blow me away like the first time I tried the WitEden WitTwo Type C (coming from a blocky V-Cube 2). I still had some of my best averages with that cube. The LingPo was a minor upgrade compared to that, and I would consider the TengYun still yet a minor upgrade. It's a nice cube, cuts corners fairly well, and doesn't lockup too much. The best thing about this cube compared to those older cubes, for me, is the magnets. I rarely, if ever, get +2. No matter how carelessly I drop it, it doesn't ever seem to misalign. It feels very stable. The spring compression adjustment is a bit strange. I'm not sure if I even understand it correctly, although it seemed to work as intended when I did adjust it. It's hard for me to read the numbers on each side, though. I like that the screws don't rub against the plastic on this cube. A problem I had with the LingPo is that, even with regular cleaning and lubricating, the screws would always dig into the plastic and get gunked up with lube/plastic dust. This cube came fairly dry, so I lubed it almost immediately to mitigate any plastic dust build up issues. I'm not sure what others use for 2x2 lubricants, but I added a bit of Gravitas between the internal edge/center surfaces, as well as on top of the internal edges. I also added a few drops of silk to further smooth things out, and some speedy/DNM-37 to speed things back up a bit. I might have also added a bit of weight 5 to the screws. (Maru and weight 5 are my tried and true lubricant combo, but Gravitas, silk, and DNM-37 have grown on me quite a bit. I'd highly recommend giving them a try). I've gotten quite good times with this cube. I still haven't beaten my (unofficial) pb's, but that's probably more to do with lack of practice than performance of the cube. It definitely feels like a worthy successor, and I probably won't upgrade again for quite a while (but you probably could have guessed that). It's not a big deal to me since I don't buy loads of cubes, but I suppose it's a bit on the pricey side compared to other options. I don't find it unreasonable, though. We're kind of spoiled these days with the price/performance ratio of cubes.

Best 2x2 on the market period

Out of all my 2x2s, this one definitely stood out the most. If you are looking for a fast, reliable and excellent corner cutting 2x2 speed cube, then this is the one to buy. Don't go out and buy a budget 2x2 that everyone says its good because you'll soon out grow it (just as I have) so just go straight up and get this 2x2 and you'll never have to worry about getting a better one. Great job to Dayan for making this epic 2x2!

Comparable to the mgc elite

Since the Valk 2 M is gone, the only good 51mm magnetic 2x2s are the mgc elite, tengyun v2, and gan cubes. Since gan cubes are very pricy, my only two choices were the tengyun v2 and the mgc elite. The two cubes have the same magnet layout, but I ended up maining the tengyun v2 because of its adjustable magnets, which the mgc elite doesn't have. I really recommend this cube.

Excellent 2x2

This is a highly underated 2x2. Bought this with two other more expensive cubes 2x2s (Gan 251 m pro and a Proshop Xman Flare). This was my older son's favorite. Smooth and fast out of the box with really good corner cutting. Highly recommend if you're looking for a mid range 2x2, especially while it's on sale!

The cube is quiet and controllable. I also broke my pb on my first try! Highly recommended

Tengyun v2

Great 2x2 with amazing corner cutting and smooth feel. Not the best ootb but after tensioning it’s great.
