MoYu RS3 M 2021 3x3 (MagLev)

I picked up this cube because I think it was on sale when I got it, my newest 3x3 was 4 years old, no magnets, and I also wanted to see how Maglev feels (And how magnets in general feel, haha). I like the super affordable price point. When I first got the cube it was really sandy so I didn't know what to expect, but I figured I should break it in a bit and see how it feels. And... Oh my goodness this cube is awesome. So essentially Maglev is different from regular springs in that it replaces them with two repelling magnets, and you can set the force between them with a little plastic adjuster that comes with the cube. After a couple days, I can confidently say that this cube is my new main. One reason is that it turns like butter, but is still fast, and the magnets help to keep the cube in shape while I turn it like a madman. The second reason this cube is my new main is because I got a new PB using this cube the night I unboxed it.

Good light cube and very fast, my only problem was that I found it a bit too fast for my turning style which resulted in lockup’s. However take this stance with a gran of salt as this is my opinion before fine tuning the cube (wich I’ve never been good at.

Hello fellow cubers! I have recently received this cube for my birthday, and it is AWESOME. First of all, I got the Celeritas lube service (which I recommend) and because this cube is so fast out of the box, the lube really helps it become more controllable. This cube is great for beginner - intermediate level cubers, or if you are a very advanced cuber, this also works. Straight out of the box, it was smooth, no spring ping, and it turned amazing. I recommend this cube 100% to anyone who wants a better pb ;D

Received the cube as a free gift from The Cubicle. Main is a Gan 11 Pro, but the MoYu RS3 M Maglev is giving me times better than the GAN. A complete surprise from a budget speed cube. I now have three RS3 M Maglevs now.

Magnets were weak so The Cubicle magnet kits works perfectly and add stability where I need it.

Calling this cube a 'budget cube' feels like a near insult to this cube. I would call it a flagship, one of the best cubes I've ever used, that also just happens to be priced really really affordably. If you're reading this, honestly, just get the cube. It's amazing. Although out of the box it is very dry and very very fast, with a bit of setup it's worth way more than the price.
Also, cubicle gave me two stickers with my order! And a book rec! It never ceases to amaze me how good this brand's service is, it's experiences like this that make me prefer this website over the others :)

I want you to keep in mind that I was VERY skeptical about MagLev at first.

I got this puzzle as a $10 mystery puzzle, so a $3.99 profit. Out of the box, this puzzle was way too fast. Automatically, I set it aside and put the extra magnets in to keep it more stable, along with using a controllable lube to keep things smooth. It's very satisfying to turn and the MagLev technology feels weird yet good. Heres what I have to say about it

Overall, this puzzle is great. For only $13.99, it feels like it's in the $30 range.

It is an amazing cube, very controlable, but still very fast, love it.

Very good out of the box and amazing corner cutting. My only downside is if u don’t live in us like me shipping can take 4 to 7 weeks.

This puzzle left me speechless. I’ve never owned a magnetic 3x3 before, the only magnetic puzzles I had owned being a magnetic skewb and pyraminx, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Any expectations I did have were completely blown out of the park. This thing is fast. There isn’t a single point where this cube won’t corner cut, meaning lockups are truly a thing of the past. The magnets are strong, but in no way do they slow down the turning. This is truly an amazing cube, and I recommend it to anybody, not just people on a budget. If you’re looking to get serious at cubing but don’t want to spend $80 on the newest GAN puzzle, get this.

One property of maglev cubes that many people seem to miss is that the force applied by magnets increases faster than springs. Because of this, even if you have it on a weak magnet setting, the cube will still feel very tight. Corner cutting requires a lot of force, so combined with it being faster than the standard one, it catches more. I much prefer the standard version of this cube, and I would only recommend this one if you want the fastest one possible. It's not a bad cube, but when there's the regular one to compare it to, I wouldn't recommend this.
