Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I had this cube (by another manufacturer) since the late 80s, so I'd used it for more than 30 years, and the stickers were incredibly worn so I wanted a replacement.
Yes, I know how to solve it (and the typical cube) and understand how the placements of the stickers enable the calendar to cleverly work.
With this new cube I discovered that some of the stickers were misplaced to not make it able to show all dates, such as the "Sun" sticker was on the same corner piece as the "3" - so the calendar could never show Sunday 3 or 13 or 23 (of any month). Also "C" from DEC shared the same edge piece with "3" (in the 10's column) meaning when it is "DEC" could never show "30" or "31". Also the "F" was on the same piece as "day" so it could never show "day" and "FEB" at the same time - see photo.
However I fixed this by moving several stickers to make it able to show all dates properly.
I understand my cube may have been a one off mistake or it could be a design issue, but apart from that, this is a really good cube, although it'd be nice if it came with a stand that presents the date side at a good angle, as my previous cube calendar did. Luckily I still had that stand as I replacing my old one, but other customers are missing out.

Me gusta levantarme y cambiar la fecha todas las mananas, es muy entretenido... el cubo es liviano y no se mueve con rapidez, pero esta bien al final no hay prisa por cambiar la fecha a diario...

The cube is what it seems like. It can make any combination of weekday, month, and day. The underlying puzzle feels cheap but not like its falling apart. It's not a proper modern speedcube, but it's perfectly adequate for something to put on your desk and make a few moves on everyday. Note that only one face can ever be "solved" and the other faces are scrambled, but there are 2,562 ways to solve it (7 weekdays * 366 possibel calendar dates).

My grandson was born on Christmas Eve so I got him one for each.! They are well made and a brilliant idea!!
I did not know what this cube was at first because I got it in a mystery puzzle, so I gave it to my brother to play around with then he gave it to me and said it was a calendar cube. I have done it every day since then.
